الأثار السياحية القديمة

يحتضن الساحل الليبي أجمل الآثار القديمة في العالم و التي تتركز بصورة بارزة في كل من المنطقة الشرقية و المنطقة الغربية من هذا الساحل , ففي المنطقة الغربية يرجع تاريخ الآثار إلى العهد الفينيقي حيث تم تأسيس مدن صبراته و أويا و لبدة الكبرى , و في العصر الروماني أصبحت من أكثر المدن ازدهارا و جمالا في ذلك الوقت و تركت للبلاد هذا التراث الأثري الزاخر ,

وفي المنطقة الشرقية تشمل الآثار القديمة المدن اليونانية الخمس الشهيرة شحات (قورينا ) و سوسة (أبو لونيا) و طلميثة (بطليموس ) و توكرة (توخيرة ) و المرج (برقة)., و يزداد جمال هذه المدن الأثرية بوقوعها بشكل رائع في منطقة الجبل الأخضر ذات الطبيعة الجذابة , كما توجد بالمنطقة عدد من المعالم الأثرية الأخرى التي تثير اهتمام السياح و أهمها الفسيفساء البيزنطية الرائعة الموجودة في قصر ليبيا الذي يعتبر موقع جذب سياحي رئيسي يتسم بأهمية سياحية دولية و المعبد الليبي الموجود في سلطنة و الذي يرجع تاريخه إلى عهد ماقبل الإسلام .و هناك أيضا بعض الآثار الرومانية المعزولة جنوب طرابلس في منطقة الجبل الغربي و على سبيل المثال الآثار الموجودة بالقرب من مدينة يفرن و بعيدا في الدواخل في كل من غدامس و جرمة إلا أن أهم الاثار الرومانية الموجودة في الصحراء تقع على بعد 200كم جنوب شرقي طرابلس في منطقة قرزة حيث تعتبر المزارع الرومانية المحصنة و القبور و الأضرحة الفخمة مثيرة للاهتمام بوجه خاص
